I was never supposed to be in the fitness industry. At 13 years old I weighed 300lbs, I was not motivated, didn’t want to play sports, and was on a fast track to a multitude of health-related issues. I’m not sure what happened, but one day, I decided enough was enough. I got out of bed and tried to do 5 sit ups. I was upset with how exhausted that made me, so the next night I did 6 sit ups. As the days went on, I continued on this path until one day I did 3 sets of 300 sit ups, at 14 years old. I had lost 100lbs in 10 months and lifer was created.

Since then, I tried to put myself in the best situations to learn not only how to train myself but help others as well. I woke up early, studied, failed, tried again, failed some more and persisted my way until I found myself at 11 Athletics where I believe I can make the biggest impact on my community.

Fitness Advice

The most successful people I have seen in the gym are the ones who put in a consistent effort. Consistency will beat intensity every time. You can go #beastmode for one workout or you can show up four days a week, which do you think will take you farther?

Style of Training

Performance based methods for the general population, Strength Sport training. Movement based training.

Favorite Exercise

The ones that are the most difficult for me.
